Poirot

Why does this project exist?

When you’re working on code with many functions and definitions, it’s hard to see at a glance where one thing starts and where another ends. Poirot tries to solve definition highlighting in an expanded way.

Architecture

Poirot is a monorepo with two packages:

• lib: Independent parsers for each language
• extension: The VS Code extension that connects the parsers with the editor API to provide go-to-definition and reference highlighting

By separating the parsers into a library, they could be reused in other contexts outside of VS Code.
